Supporting Egypt’s Sustainable Development Plan
The Afro-Asian Union (AFASU) plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable development in Egypt by honoring leading institutions that contribute to the advancement of the tourism and hospitality sectors.
The award not only celebrates achievements, but also serves as a motivational message reflecting the importance of responsible investment and innovation in driving the national and global economy.
Through its initiatives, the Federation seeks to encourage institutions to adopt sustainability standards in their projects, such as optimal use of resources, efficient energy management, and the provision of integrated tourism services that take into account environmental and social dimensions. This approach aligns with the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030, which considers tourism a fundamental pillar in achieving comprehensive growth and job creation.
The award also reflects a positive image of the country’s ability to attract investment and enhance its presence on the global tourism map to the international community. This contributes to strengthening Egypt’s role as a driver of regional tourism development and a key supporter of the country’s sustainable development programs.
