History is written in Egypt

It is really a good day that calls for optimism and trying to work better than everyone so that the war in Gaza ends, so that the scenes that make the heart cry and make everything in life without joy or happiness end. I hope that the whole world lives in peace and security and that Egypt is always a witness to the end of everything bad that is in the world. Here, history is written and seen all over the world. I respect anyone who calls for peace, calls for the elimination of hunger, for the eradication of poverty. I pray for everyone’s success and lasting prosperity.

The Gaza Peace Summit was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, under the joint chairmanship of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, with the participation of more than 31 leaders of states and regional and international organizations.

The presidents and leaders of the United States, Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar signed a comprehensive document on the agreement between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

Some excerpts from the Sharm el-Sheikh Document, most notably:

We seek to enable everyone in the region to achieve their aspirations for peace, security, and prosperity.

We seek a comprehensive vision of peace based on mutual respect and a shared destiny.

We welcome the progress made in establishing comprehensive and lasting peace arrangements in the Gaza Strip.

We welcome the friendly and fruitful relations between Israel and its regional neighbors.

We commit to working together to build foundations that will enable future generations to prosper together in peace.

In his opening remarks at the summit, US President Donald Trump thanked the Egyptian president, saying he leads a country with a civilization spanning 7,000 years.

Trump also thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, calling him “an amazing man, and I thank him for his wonderful friendship,” and said his country possesses one of the best militaries in the world.

Trump also thanked the State of Qatar for its efforts and praised its Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, describing him as an amazing leader.I am really proud and honored to be Egyptian and witness this wonderful day.
