This year’s GITEX holds a special place in my heart, as it marks 30 years since I first attended in 1994. That visit was also my first trip to the Middle East, where I represented Microsoft as a young Product Manager. I vividly remember showcasing my work on Microsoft Windows 3.0 and Microsoft Word 6.0, eager to share the innovation we were driving. GITEX quickly became a cornerstone event for me, not just to demonstrate Microsoft’s advancements, but also to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and friends from across the region.

Looking back, I always had a feeling that Dubai would one day become my home. Fast forward to GITEX 2024, and I’m incredibly proud to now be part of the 7awi Media Group, surrounded by talented, forward-thinking individuals who share a passion for innovation.
